Finding the light

Its been a long time since I last post, I am going to try to post biweekly or weekly. Reading Kevin's Will Work For Passion - http://www.sportsshooter.com/news/1948 has given me inspiration.

I was burnt out, without wanting to be burnt out, my staff job become more like a job, and not a love. But Ana started this past friday and now things won't be as bad as it once was, I will have time to find my vision, enjoy photography and work on stories. I am going to meet a subject of a story I've been wanting to work on for the past few months tomorrow. Its been a long two months working on Friday and Saturday alone.

First Post - Week ahead.

Blogging. I never really been into, I love to browse them. But never really posted. But I am going to try it. My name is Nick Adams, I'm a staff newspaper photographer in Northern Cal. I try to shoot everyday. I'm looking to vent, find a muse, focus and grow. This blog won't be my portfolio more of just a daily/weekly happens from here - between - there.

I have a long week ahead. I work for 9 days staight before heading home(Texas) for a week. I haven't been home for 7months, its been a long, amazing 7 months. However, I do miss my family and good Texas cookin'. Yesterday marked 6 months at the Appeal-Democrat.
